Rami and Lunar are an exception to our kittens-only rule. They are long-term fosters and waiting for the perfect home. Likely not socialized with other cats at a young age, they don’t have the best cat behaviors so it would be better for them to be in a household without other cats but with the right personality they may coexist just fine so we’ll leave that up to their forever family to decide.
That said, they get along better with our dogs than any of our permanent cats, so a forever home with dogs would be perfect for them.
Along with their sister Brevity, we think they were dumped at the colony at around six months old. We knew from the start that they were not at all like the other cats in the colony and were very attached to people. We didn’t even need traps to catch these three, they just walked up to us and let us pick them up.
When we took them to the vet, she suspected that they had been bottle fed as kittens based on their affinity for humans. Both are extremely comfortable being held and spend nearly every night sleeping in our bed. Cuddly, friendly, and always eager for attention these are two of the best cats we’ve ever met, let alone had in our house.
